Only In Asia #1 – Selling Fruit by Horse Carriage in Urban Cities

This is our first installment of Only In Asia: Selling Fruit by Horse-Drawn Carriage in Urban Cities. This awesome photo was taken by our very own kvietgrl in Beijing, China. When I was working in Beijing last year, I sometimes saw villagers come to town on Horse-Drawn Carriages to sell fruit (mostly), but I never had a camera around when I would see them.

This is a real treat for us here at SAPL because it is definitely not something we see every day (or ever).

Thanks, Kvietgrl!

This is fun! I`ve never seen one like it. I would love to go to China one day and see for myself.

In Manila, there are still a few horse-drawn carriages… but they are usually meant for tourists around the Walls of Intramuros. I remember seeing them a lot in front of my Aunt`s house when I was a kid, but had never been on them all my life.

    I love this post! ;)
