Asian people love comedy. Why wouldn’t they love an Asian Comedian? Even if they don’t know them personally, they will always spread the word about other popular and comical asian people. For instance, The winner of the original “Last Comic Standing”, Dat Phan, is known to have received most of his votes from the Asian community. Another famous asian comedian that has made it to the big screen is Bobby lee, who currently stars on MadTV and in the 2007 Blockbuster Movie, “Kickin’ it Old Skool.”
They always have asian support because asians can actually relate to them. Yes, they are somewhat ridiculous or flippant, but sure are funny. Asians make their friends watch corny asian comedies on Youtube. If you haven’t seen them, you’re missing out. There are quite a few people who owe their fame and fortune to Youtube. (just for posting their funny videos)

I like uncle sam but many times he cusses a lot…the emo video is scary…esp. cutting parts, it made me cringe….but maybe that’s because I’m a girl

Last Comic Standing was judged by an almost entirely white live audience. Plenty of Asians, including myself, hate Dat Phan.

isn’t it weird how in a seperate post Indians are classified as ‘non-asian’ but then on the ‘asian’ comedians post you link 2 clips of an indian guy making fun of chinese people. Not that it’s hard.

Asian Comedians are F’in retarded. Neither Dat N or Bobby L have ever made me even smirk. They act like asshats and have no business calling themselves comedians. They give asians a bad name. Anyone who finds them funny are only laughing because they make fun of the asian sterotype with the retarded accents they have.

None of the contestants on Last Comic Standing were very funny to me, but I had a lot of respect for Dat Phan. He was made to work the hardest for that title. He was chosen to do the most challenges and had to face constant scrutiny from the rest of the cast… who had no prejudice motivations, I’m sure.

i dont know. some asian comedians are funny. I love it. at least the japanese ones. dont like too many of the american asian comedians. some of the filipino ones umm yeah, they were ok.
