Remember good ol’ Se7en? Yeah, this guy. The one who makes all the girls swoon. Well, “official” news has finally been released about his debut in the United States. It’s about time, YG. I’m starting to not believe you anymore. *AHEM* Anyways!

After two long years of preparing and advertising for his American debut, Se7en is rumored to be releasing his song “Girls” as a digital single on Valentine’s Day -– February 14, 2009. A music video is also expected to be released. The song is featuring female rapper Lil Kim, who hasn’t even been around these days.

You can listen to the song here:

My opinion of the single:
Sure, I think the song is catchy, but what was YG (or Red Queen Media, who knows) thinking when he chose Lil Kim to be featured? The song lyrics contain the typical superficial American stuff, so I’m wondering how successful the song will be. I think this song does not display his true, amazing vocals and emotion, but I guess they chose for Se7en to conform to all American music.

Best of luck to Se7en. I wish him a successful career in America. I’ll be supporting him with all my heart.
