StepMania is a free dance and rhythm game featuring 3D graphics, dance pad support, and a step editor. I think that this is, by far, the best dance dance revo game I’ve seen and it’s free. I’ve only had mine for a little while now, but i love it. You can dance to your favorite anime OP! The dance music is whatever stepmania mix/pack you load into it.

Some dance compilations are so good that they have animated backgrounds. Although, there are some stepmania mixes compiled by others where the steps seem so difficult that it would seem only the creator or stepmania experts would know how to do it. Those are the ones with, from what i can tell, landmines. The landmines are the opposite of step arrows, which explode if you accidently press the wrong key.
