This week’s artist is multitalented Pop/R&B artist, George Nozuka.

George Nozuka is a Canadian singer, also known in America, who contains talent in many areas. He is mixed with Japanese and Caucasian. George is known to have a soulful voice and smooth dance moves that belie his age. He is not the only talented member in his family. His brother, Justin Nozuka, is also a singer and his brother Philip is an actor. He also has a brother named Christian, another musician, a brother named Henry, a dancer, and two sisters named Margaret and Sandra.

George acquired a love for performing at a young age through watching Michael Jackson videos on television. He choreographed dance routines in school talent shows and still could not get enough of performing.

After high school, he set out to make his dream come true. He became part of some groups and later his dedication to music paid off when he met a man named CJ Huyer, a former member of the group 3Deep. Together him and CJ worked together, and later CJ introduced George to Howie D. of the Backstreet Boys. Later on, CJ and Howie made George their first project singer in their entertainment group after seeing George’s amazing dancing and singing talent.

With his hardworking personality and excellent talent, after 12 months George released his first full album titled “Believe” in 2006. George helped write all tracks on the album, but most of his heart was put into the single “Talk To Me”, which became one of his greatest hits so far. George stated that the song was about how long he has been waiting for his dream to come true and the second part is about his appreciation of what women have to say. Can I get an “aww”? Some of his other hits include “Lie To Me”, “Butterfly”, and “Hurting Child”.
