First of all, I apologize if you had been reading my ABDC articles from before and have wondered why I just stopped posting them after episode 3. But, here I am wrapping the show up!

The many fans of America’s Best Dance Crew are probably throwing an S on their chests and an S in the sky tonight, as the winner of ABDC season two was announced tonight, August 21^st.

After many weeks of intense work and rigorous challenges and dancing, the two groups who made it to the top of ABDC Season 2 were Houston’s SoReal Cru and Las Vegas’ Super Cr3w. With all of their work efforts, they definitely had deserved the top two spots in the show.

I’ll just recap with a little information about both of the amazing crews.

SoReal Cru consists of Monkiee boi, Eye Candy, Pat Lam, Brianbuyoiyoi, Jackstar, Burna, and Good Foot; all of them have been close friends who enjoy learning new dance techniques with each other. They represent Houston, Texas in the derrty South and are proud to have put Houston on the map in the dancing world. Although SoReal Cru had never had a problem avoiding the bottom two, the members had a difficult time throughout their dancing career. Their parents never fully believed and supported them throughout their journey, which is what motivated them to dance even harder than they usually do. Together as a crew, they’ve made it to the top and have proved to their parents that they were truly born to dance.

Super Cr3w, representing Las Vegas and b-boys all around the world, consists of Ronnie Rey, Do-Knock, Abenamar Honrubia, Rockadile, Alex Murda, and Vex. The members of the crew have had a lot of experience in the b-boying world; about 8-years worth. They have traveled the world and won many competitions as a crew and as solo dancers. These boys have gave their all throughout the competition and has shown America what breakdancing is all about. They even proved the judges that they could perform choreography, too. Even though this crew has made it into the bottom two a total of three times, they have managed to make it into the top two in the end.

The face-off between the top two crews was intense. Both showed the judges and the audience everything that they’re made of and how much they had wanted the title of America’s Best Dance Crew. The top crews in this season were both very good, and hard to choose from. So who was the winner? SoReal Cru, the group who had never made it near elimination, or Super Cr3w, the group who had faced elimination many times?

In the end, America had voted with a record 39 million votes, and threw an S to the sky. Super Cr3w is the second crew to win America’s Best Dance Crew. Congratulations to them!

Also a huge congratulations to SoReal Cru for making it so far into the competition. Of course they will also be recognized as another awesome dance crew. Best of luck to them in their future endeavors.
