What? Female Big Bang??

YG Trainees Park Bom(24), CL(19), Gong Min Ji(15), and possible new addition Sandara Park(24) are possibly debuting as a group this month. I say “possibly” because of recent news of Se7en’s US debut album and all that mess.

Park Bom is probably the most well-known trainee in the group. She was featured on two Big Bang songs “We Belong Together” and “Forever With You” in 2006. She’s credited for having a soulful voice and has gained the affections of many netizens. I think that she’s got an okay voice depending on what song she’s singing, and the other clips of her singing are pretty good.

Sandara Park started her career a little earlier in the Philippines in 2004. She auditioned for Star Circle Quest. Even though she didn’t claim first place, she managed to gain much stardom in a span of about three months.

She had participated in many acting projects in the Philippines and came out with a hit single “In or Out” before going to South Korea and becoming a YG trainee. She is most known in Korea for being featured in Gummy’s MV “I’m Sorry” with Big Bang’s T.O.P.

CL (Chae Rin) made her unofficial debut on SBS Music Festival with the rest of the YG Family and was praised for her strong charisma and excellent rapping abilities. Some netizens even dubbed her as the “female GD.”

YG also claims that she can speak Japanese, Korean, English and French fluently. I saw her recently performing with Uhm Jung Hwa and she’s just amazing. She’s got so much attitude and spunk. She’s probably my favorite YG trainee at the moment.

Gong Ji Min’s dancing video (here) was released on the internet widely and she quickly became popular with netizens. Most noticed her young appearance and powerful dance moves so soon enough she was noticed by YG who immediately recruited her. She’s also known among netizens as Big Bang GD’s “adored pet” which has gained a lot of negative, jealous fan-girl attention.

I wasn’t sure about putting her in the group because of the huge age gap between her Bom, and Sandara. But after seeing her rap and sing, I have a little bit more faith in her. She’s not bad but CL is obviously the better rapper; she’ll most likely be the main dancer in the group. I’m really impressed with how much charisma her and CL have.

This “female Big Bang” group possibly could have had 5 members instead of 4 if May Doni hadn’t left.  Or maybe they would have given her a solo and put her sister Lenny in the group.  Just a thought. :)

Park Bom isn’t his sister =]

I love CL. She has a hot rapping voice xP Sometimes I think she’s a Lexy replacement, though. I also like Park Bom. I’m not a fan of Minji at all… but I’m really excited for this group!! I didn’t know it was this month that they might be debuting. Sandara might be added?! I was hoping that all of these girls would be solo artists.
