Hiya folks! Well this is my first blog about beauty, so I may not be as great as others but I’ll give you what I know.

First off, I’ve seen alot of my friends while curling their hair they spray hairspray onto the hair on the iron bar, or spray hairspray onto the hair before curling. However, by doing this the substance is left onto the iron, creating a foul smell because it’s still burning if the iron is on and could take longer for the iron to achieve thorough heat. Also, the hair would be stiffer this way and you can’t achieve soft and romantic curls.

Its good to have any grease-like or oil-like substances on the iron, but it has to be removed before your iron gets damaged with further usage. A good and fast way to get rid of this is to use a relaxer on it. Just swipe it onto the iron and wipe it off, or you can warm up your iron and have a damp towel (not too damp just moist enough that when you place it on the iron it doesn’t sizzle) and rub it off. This also goes for the straighteners, just do the same process. This way your irons will last longer.
