Who will be this year’s “Favorite Artist - Korea” award winner at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards?

The poll for this year’s winner of the said award will open on June 14 at the MTV Asia Awards’ official homepage [www.mtvasiaawards.com]. Vying for the title of “Favorite Artist - Korea” are Big Bang, Girls’ Generation (SNSD), Wonder Girls, and Super Junior. These candidates were selected through a survey among music industry officials and journalists and the winner of the award will be based on an online poll, which will end on July 25.

Previous winners of the “Favorite Artist - Korea” award were Rain in 2005, and Se7en in 2006.

The 2008 MTV Asia Awards will be held on August 2nd at the Arena of Stars in Genting, Malaysia.
